The COVID-19 pandemic has brought with it uncertainty and devastation for learning and development within companies and they have been forced to adapt to a digital learning strategy. Since the implementation of the national lockdown, Altron Bytes People Solutions has delivered over 5390 Virtual Instructor-led Training days for both our corporate and learnership training programmes.
What does this mean?
This means that to date, we have trained more than 1600 people since the implementation of the national lockdown. A training day is equal to a person in a class for a day. If a person thus attends a five-day course, then it will be counted as five training days.
As a business, our strategy has been to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our teams and customers without the loss of service.
Before the pandemic, while our organisation invested in online learning platforms, most of our training has been offered at almost 100% in a classroom or face-to-face training basis. Investing further resources and technology in our Virtual Instructor-led Training platform for both our learnerships and professional training programmes, it has allowed us to focus on maximising our strategic engagement and adapt the training curriculum to offer real-time online support, 24/7.
As a result, we have also been able to offer all of our Microsoft Office training via the Structured Remote Learning approach and this has allowed for better communication and alignment, agility and ambiguity, connection and support and leverage our technologies. While our technologies present us with new opportunities and challenges, it affords our clients the ability to create unique memories in the online, virtual environment and to create exciting outcomes.
